Mia Page is a half-Japanese artist, born and raised (and still residing) in California. She loves all things fun, happy, and cute, and tries to incorporate these warm feelings into her art. During the summer of 2015 she attended the CSSSA animation program, which made her really interested in making gifs and studying movement. Then after spending a semester studying animation at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, Mia realized she loves all of the different ways of making art. So, she moved back home to study studio arts at her local community college before transferring to finish her Bachelor's degree. Currently she is a senior at Humboldt State University double majoring in Studio Arts and Art Education while minoring in Art History. Recently she has been focusing on making fun and expressive illustrations and would like to continue working in illustration upon graduation. When she is not drawing, she likes to knit cozy clothes, explore nature, and watch funny movies. Previous clients include: GIPHY, Anorak Mag, Best Friends Animal Society, and Share It Again C |
